We are seeking a Procurement Administrator for a 3-year contract based in East London, Eastern Cape.

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Relevant national diploma in commerce preferably with studies involving supply chain
  • A minimum of three years' work experience of which at least one year is in a procurement.
  • Experience in infrastructure procurement process will be an advantage.

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Ensure adherence to Procurement Legislation, Policies and Procedures
  • Pretender Submission
  • Custodian of evaluation reports and Procurement Proposals and quotes
  • Implementation and Monitoring
  • Reporting and Accounting
  • The role reports to the SCM Support Specialist within the Infrastructure Management Services Office and is responsible for coordination and providing support in the implementation of the infrastructure procurement strategy to ensure compliance with provisions of the PMFA Act, Treasury
  • Regulations, and the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA).
  • The functions related to this role entail providing administrative support for bid processes, secretariat function for bid committees, compiling process files for all bids to ensure audit readiness, coordinating, and providing meeting support, as well as general administrative support relating to the procurement function of the business unit

Salary:
Between R R per annum CTC for the contract duration
