Job description
The system admin responsible for the daily organization of the Cash Office. The system admin must have great drive and ambition, with experience of using your own initiative.

You will be in charge of all money handling - from petty cash to providing change for the cashiers, and daily updating of web register.

An important part of your role is to also inform, train and update employees on cash procedures and store routines, while assisting your team members on the sales floor.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Consistently creates a welcoming environment for the customer by greeting and assisting; as well as quickly responding to customer inquiries and needs
  • Demonstrates desired behaviours for staff including driving sales, handling difficult and/or complicated sales, cash management, inventory, and followup with customers
  • Assists Store Manager with providing a strong leadership presence and control in store, while ensuring that all customers receive good service and quality merchandise
  • Utilizes company tools to diagnose opportunities and develops action plans to improve performance
  • Focus on productivity to meet sales goals
  • Identifies opportunities to drive traffic into the store
  • Responsible for all cash and debit card transactions that take place
  • Responsible for change requests
  • Responsible for reporting any cash discrepancies to the store manager
  • Assists in training new employees that join the company
  • Regularly communicates with Store Manager to discuss strengths, opportunities, and trends in business
  • Keeping a watch on all the office supplies and replenishing the stock as they run out
  • Helps Store Manager in identifying training needs and providing ongoing training opportunities to the team as needed
  • Ensures company standards are met for store and associate appearance at all times
  • Prioritizes, plans, and adjusts schedules as necessary to maximize sales
  • Ensures all pricing, signage, and displays are correct at all times
  • Enforces all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and security
  • Manages and controls shrink.
  • Performs all duties as directed by the Store manager
  • Ensures that all negative stock and outstanding ibts are kept to a mínimal and are being investigated.

Minimum Requirements:


  • Providing efficient customer service and communicating clearly and objectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritize work; exercise independent judgment, wisdom, common sense, and initiative.
  • Thoroughly carry out oral and written instructions.
  • Accurately and concisely compile data.
  • Perform complex mathematical calculations with speed and accuracy, consolidating petty cash, monthly reports.
  • Identify errors quickly; and work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Maintain adequate inventory controls
  • Ability to produce wellpresented and well written information.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
