Duties & Responsibilities:


Reporting to the Area Manager, the Site Security Manager coordinates the provision of contractual and ad hoc security protection services to a variety of customers in accordance with key risk, advantegous in SAPS experience, legislation, PSIRA regulations, Company policies to erode crime risks and ensure the budgeted financial targets are achieved.


Skills and Competencies:

Organize and oversees all security operations within a social development and residential environment.

Command security personnel, develop and implement safety protection policies, procedures to maintain security standards.

Demonstrate excellent SAPS surveillance, investigative techniques and emergency skills.

Strong character and passionate in commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety.

Controlling posting requirements ensure labour management, logístical budgets for security operations be achieved in monitoring expenses.

Partnering in recruiting, training, supervising, controlling and developing people in security protection.

Attend client meetings, plan and coordinate security operations and activities for any specific events.

Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms.

Review reports on incidents and breaches.

Investigate and resolve issues.


Qualifications:

2-3 Yrs SAPS operational experience

2-3 Yrs Management security experience

1-2 Yrs Investigation, technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV) systems experience

12 Months experience in reporting and emergency response

Grade 12 / Matric

Tertiary Qualification in SAPS or Security Management is adavantageous

PSIRA Grade A

Valid Driver's licence (own vehicle to execute duties)

Fire-arm competency advantageous

Health and Safety certification advantageous
