Our client is seeking Procurement Administrator who will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, and ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality.

Duties & Responsibilities- Evaluating suppliers, products, and services, and ensuring that approved purchases are costefficient and of high quality.
- Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
- Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
- Reviewing, comparing, analysing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
- Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as product specs, MOQ, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
- Maintaining good supplier relations.
- Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
- Placing of Import & Local Orders.
- Responsible for planning / forecasting / control of all aspects of procurement / goods.
- Responsible for procuring raw materials, packaging, and goods.
- GRV of stock, ensure pricing is correct, request credit notes where necessary.
- Updating weekly open order schedules local and import.
- Updating Goods in Transit report monthly.
- Minimum Grade 12 / Matric
- Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field
- 3+ years of experience in Procurement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and high proficiency in Excel
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Good analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Attention to detail
