    Description

    Our client is seeking an experienced Electrician (Solar / PV) to join their team, based in Johannesburg. Successful candidate will oversee the company's electrical and solar planning, installation and maintenance. The ideal candidate must demonstrate confidence in their ability to do testing, trouble shooting and repairs.

    Minimum Requirements:-

    • Minimum N3 with Electrical
    • Red Seal qualification preferred
    • Minimum 5 years utility experience
    • Minimum 3 years working knowledge of PV plants
    • Assessments of buildings and drawing up of SLD's
    • Experience with switching LV, MV and HV systems
    • Lock-out, Tag-out procedure
    • Working knowledge of power system protection
    • Able to interpret single line diagrams and schematics
    • Able to analyse data, investigate and report on trends

    Duties:-

    • Electrical: Planning, installing, maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting electrical installations
    • Solar (PV): Installations, operations, maintenance, SLA delivery
    • Risk Management: Identifies and manages business risk
