Description

Property and leasing responsibilities

Assist the property team with all leasing related functions.
Liaise with landlords regarding new stores, leases, renewal of existing leases and required maintenance
Uphold administrative duties in support of the property team
Capture & file all new lease information and ensure all current lease information and files are kept up to date.
Maintain a progress record on all new leases and lease renewals
Maintain an up to date schedule of key lease terms for all leases
Assist with sourcing potential new sites and basic negotiations with landlords
Assist the property team with preparation of new store proposals and conducting research on new potential sites
Maintain the schedule of shopping malls in South Africa and which centers have opportunities for Absolute Pets
Assist with various administrative leasing duties as and when required

Projects Responsibilities

Proactively support and contribute to improving the planning, project management and execution of new store builds as well as revamping existing stores.
Regular communication with suppliers regarding project needs and orders
Sourcing new suppliers as required
Proactively maintaining project documents and reports if required
Completing tasks assigned by project manager efficiently and on time
