Company Overview:


An international specialist project freight forwarder based on the East Rand that offers comprehensive logistics solutions for businesses involved in trade between China and South Africa.

This organisation values strong relationships, cultural understanding, and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a strong network of trade relationships with corporates in both South Africa and China.
  • Generate new business opportunities and drive sales growth in the China/SA trade lane.
  • Understand and navigate the complexities of Chinese cultures and business customs to effectively negotiate and close deals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of logistics operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fluent Mandarin speaking and excellent understanding of Chinese cultures and business customs.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional sales experience, preferably with a focus on trade between South Africa and China.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining trade relationships with corporates from an export and import perspective.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in logistics is advantageous, but not essential.
