Why this job is important


As an Account Director in the MAC (Media & Creative) team you would be required to provide specialist media and creative insight to internal and external stakeholders.

You will suit this role if you have an in depth understanding of media and creative strategy across online and offline touch points and solid quantitative research skills.

As this is a role in a specialist research team, any direct experience in a media/ creative agency or working with media buying tools will be hugely advantageous.

This role requires a key focus on meeting new business targets through selling key MAC research solutions. This includes (but is not limited too) consumer Media and Creative return on investment research solutions. Strong communication skills, presentation skills and team management skills are essential in the success of this position.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead positive relationships with clients and ensure collaboration across all Kantar divisions to ensure a united single Kantar POV and ensure high levels of client satisfaction as measures on client satisfaction surveys.
  • Be the first port of call across all accounts for strategic opinions and advice.
  • Successfully lead staff to implement all projects: ensure staff are trained to implement research projects from study design to final reporting and analysis and lead multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Provide strategic recommendations: Present thoughtful insights and analyses to our client.
  • Grow client relationships: Contribute to revenue growth for assigned clients by listening to business opportunities and proactively recommend potential research solutions. Actively write proposals.
  • Drive positive team culture and act as a leader to all staff, including guiding them through their career.
The skills & experience needed as Account Director

  • Guide media knowledge, including media spend analytics across all touch points, this includes but is not limited to TAMS, RAMS, ADEX as well as post evaluation digital reporting
  • Thought leadership creation in terms of articles and presenting at client/ industry events
  • Experienced analytical abilities to answer client questions with data
  • Experienced problemsolving abilities
  • Experienced ability to synthesize disparate and sometimes contradictory learning's
  • Minimum 710 years relevant MAC experience with direct involvement in analysis of research or interpretation of data sources
  • People management experience
  • Educated to a degree level, additional skills courses showing up to date industry MAC knowledge will be advantageous.
