A well established Automotive company based in Johannesburg North, is seeking a qualified

Credit Analyst to join their team.

As a

Credit Analyst you will be responsible for assessing and analysing the creditworthiness of clients, evaluating their financial history and determine their ability to repay the proposed loan/s.


Responsibilities:


  • Reading financial briefings
  • Assessing, analysing and interpreting financial information and third party information sources
  • Undertaking risk analysis by developing statistical models based on the company portfolio performance
  • Keeping company credit exposures within set risk limits
  • Continuously monitor actual process turnaround times and quality standards and resolve issues speedily to enhance effective client service delivery
  • Provide regular reports on, inter alia, delivery of services against agreed service level agreements and approval rates or the like
  • Working to develop creditscoring systems for the company
  • Keeping knowledge of key issues uptodate (for example legal, market risk and compliance issues)

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the banking/finance sector
  • Bachelors degree or related finance degree would be beneficial
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Microsoft Office
  • Excellent IT, analytical and numerical skills
  • Experience in the Automotive industry would be beneficial
