An exciting opportunity has become available within the Medical Device Manufacturing industry, for a Production Manager. The position is based in Pretoria.

REQUIREMENTS:

Mircobiology or chemical degree
Proven experience as Production Manager or relevant role
5 years' + experience in a management role
Understanding of business management and various functions such as HR, Manufacturing, Research and Development, Product Development, Quality Management
Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues
Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
Strategic planning and execution
Decisionmaking
Problem solving
Leadership skills
Able to deal with complexity and ambiguity
Analytical and systems thinking ability
Resilience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Required to execute in a timeous manner the manufacturing of a medical device by facilitating the operations of said device.
Definition and delegation of manufacturing tasks
Risk identification and control
Adherence to company design control methodology
Relevant local and international standards and guidance pertaining to the submissions of technical documentation for regulatory compliance
