Main Responsibilities:


  • Facilitating workshops with the business to collect business requirements
  • Bring bestpractice / leadingpractice thought leadership and knowledge that can be used to identify any potential gaps in terms of business requirements in each respective area
  • Document business requirements and identify and raise any gaps
  • Facilitate the close out of the business requirements and scope in each respective area
  • Develop the detailed technical specifications
  • Present the technical architecture and scope at various forums, including: Focus Groups, Working Groups, Technical Advisory Committees and Project Steering Committees
  • Identify any technical dependencies across other Core Application Refresh (CAR) projects and any other dependencies / interdependencies e.g. integrations, security, infrastructure, data migration etc.
  • Collaborate with fellow technical architects and technical specialists to determine the best holistic approach regarding the solution design and technical architecture that is bestfit for the client
  • Responsible to assist, support and collaborate with the CAR Tender & Contract Project Managers and the Delivery Project Managers, regarding project planning activities related to the tender phase and the project implementation phase
  • Responsible to assist with knowledge transfer and skills development within the CAR team, with interns assigned to the CAR projects, with peers in IS&T and the business who form part of the project Focus Groups and Working Groups, and the onboarding of the successful Systems Implementer posttender award.
  • Provide inputs for the implementation of change management activities and
- the transition for all stakeholders;

  • Risk management reporting and mitigation approaches;
  • All relevant stakeholder engagement presentations and reports in relevant templates, and
  • Effectively manage any resistance to change.

Skills/Experience Required:


  • IT Service Management Specialist, who is an expert in IT Service Desks and Service Management; Knowledge re: OLA/SLA is also preferred.
  • There is a project requirement for this resource to attend the BSC and BEC tender processes, so it will be important that the resource is not conflicted with regards to potential bidders.

Required Qualifications:


  • Minimum qualification is a Bachelor's Degree
  • ITIL qualifications are beneficial
- +12 years' experience in IT Service Management and ITIL

  • IT Consulting experience is beneficial
