Beck Family Estates seeks to employ a seasoned events manager who will be responsible for the world-class delivery and execution of the Graham Beck and Steenberg wine portfolio experiences._

The successful incumbent will_
drive and implement Graham Beck and Steenberg's event strategies at the following touchpoints:

  • Brand events and sponsorships
  • Trade & industry shows.
  • Internal conferences and events
  • Wine stand sales at hospitality team's brand home events

The event manager will be responsible to:_

  • Contribute to the development of integrated annual plans through the strategic planning and ownership of a 12month event activity calendar linked to goals & ROI.
  • Coordinate all aspects of events from planning, executing right through to postevent evaluation and reporting as required.
  • Work with the relevant internal teams to plan and execute pre, during, and post event nurture and engagement programs where appropriate.
  • Develop event digital toolkits including standards and assets for best practice sharing to ensure seamless experience and flawless execution of same or similar activities across key markets.
  • Collaborate with trade marketing & loyalty club leads to maximise loyalty club lead generation at events.
  • Manage the annual events budget, seeking out opportunities to maximise cost savings and ROI without compromising premium execution.
  • Act as first point of contact, evaluating all adhoc proposals and opportunities received, declining where not aligned to core strategy and elevating internally for further consideration where warranted.
  • Act as the inhouse events marketing champion, willing to coach the broader teams on how to use this engagement platform for successful outputs.
  • Research trends in event planning to develop new ideas for future events.
  • Coordinate group logistics & agenda for multibrand home visits (individual brand home tours & tastings managed directly by onsite hospitality & tasting room teams)

Job Requirements:_

  • Degree in marketing, communication, or related field
years' experience in a comparable FMCG, luxury category and / or wine environment

  • Solid understanding of the event marketing strategies, trends, and technologies
  • Computer literacy & techsavvy
