Introduction

Key Responsibilities
-
Operational Leadership: Oversee the creation of monthly duty rotas for staff in the UK, ensuring comprehensive coverage and operational efficiency.

Evening Operational Support: Act as the primary evening contact for operational queries, providing guidance and resolutions to our team.

Safety and Compliance Oversight: Monitor daily staff clock-ins and ensure driver compliance with pre-departure bus inspections.

Capacity and Booking Management: Strategically manage bookings to prevent overcapacity and ensure a balanced distribution of passengers.

Crisis Management and Resolution: Lead the operational response to tour cancellations or vehicle breakdowns, following established protocols to minimize disruption.

Operational Reporting: Produce detailed end-of-day reports on operational activities, issues, and resolutions to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in operational or duty management, preferably within the tourism, transportation, or related sectors.
Exceptional leadership abilities and experience managing teams in a dynamic operational environment.
Excellent decisionmaking and problemsolving skills, with a proven track record of managing operational challenges effectively.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a remote team.
Technical proficiency to support and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
