Description

Safari Guiding:

Lead guests on immersive game drives and bushwalks, sharing your expertise on the diverse flora and fauna of Kruger National Park.


Guest Engagement:

Provide insightful and engaging information about the wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation efforts, ensuring an enriching experience for our guests.


Safety and Conservation:
Prioritize the safety of guests and wildlife while adhering to conservation principles and ethical guiding practices.


Trail Maintenance:
Assist in the upkeep of walking trails, ensuring they are safe and well-maintained for guest activities.


Hospitality:

Collaborate with lodge staff to enhance the overall guest experience, participating in guest activities and contributing to a positive lodge atmosphere.


Field Guide Qualification:
Must possess a recognized FGASA Level 2 or higher qualification.


First Aid Certification:
Valid First Aid certification is essential.


Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and connect with guests from diverse backgrounds.


Experience:
Proven experience as a Trails/Field Guide in a luxury safari lodge setting.


Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of the flora, fauna, and ecosystems of Kruger National Park.


Passion:
A genuine passion for wildlife, conservation, and sustainable tourism.


Flexibility:
Willingness to work irregular hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
