Description
Hotel close Franschhoek is recruiting for a Stock Administrator (Laundry & Equipment).

You will be responsible for accurate recordkeeping with the ability to complete duties quickly and methodically whilst maintaining a high degree of operational delivery, will result in success within this role.


Responsibilities:


  • Ordering, receiving and issuing of uniforms and linen to the respective departments and Hotels
  • Prepare all new joiner uniform requirements prior to their start date
  • Support Senior Stock controller by providing par stock levels for linen and uniform items
  • Responsible for monthly stock takes, checking and following up on variances
  • Mending and altering any uniform and linen items, including towels, according to operational requirements
  • Labelling of all new or relabelling of existing uniforms and linen according to property or department
  • Manage and control all staff lockers through all the properties
  • Processing of all related documents in the inventory control system
  • Sourcing suppliers in line with our quality standard and requirements
  • Maintain organised and clean storage areas
  • Adhere to Health and Safety Standards

Requirements:


  • Matric Certificate
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in general administrative and computer duties
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ordering, issuing and receiving stock
  • Experience in a 5star luxury hotel environment would be advantageous
  • Experience in working on or similar procurement or stock management software, would be advantageous
  • Driver's license would be advantageous
  • Physical ability to do heavy lifting
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent timekeeping and good communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
