_Job Description:
_

  • Assume full accountability for all financial aspects of the business,_
- including financial/statutory reporting, strategic and tactical decision-making affecting and impacting business finance fundamentals, working capital management and revenue forecasting, Engagements relating to renewable energy project financing, mergers/acquisitions, fundraising, tax, and legal compliances, and budget management across all areas of the business._


_Requirements:
_
- _Bachelor/Masters's Degree in Finance, Economics_
- _ CA(SA) Registration_
- _ Minimum three years of experience as a Financial Manager, Financial Director, or CFO_
- _ 2+ years of background in Project Finance, Structured Finance, or M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions)_
- _ 3+ years experience in complex financial modeling using MS Excel_
- _ Solution-orientated, dedicated, and someone who takes ownership of tasks and responsibilities_
- _ Strong background in Project Finance, Structured Finance_
- _ Capability to build up networks with key local stakeholders and lead transaction teams_
- _ Renewable Energy Project Experience_
- _ Experience using Sage_
- _ Demonstrated successful financial closing of Project Financed deals_


_ Responsibilities:
_
- _ Financial modeling_
- _ Obtain key inputs from the internal team lead and external partners to ensure the appropriate capturing of financial models_
- _ Delivery of company cash flow forecasts and budgets_
- _ Review and tracking of departmental performance (forecast versus actual revenue/costs)_
- _ Oversee company books (tax/ invoicing, payroll, etc) and financial reporting_
- _ Identify and secure funding/revenue sources_
- _ Develop renewable energy finance/ re-finance solutions for the company_
- _ Interface with projects owners and clients_
- _ Analyse project/opportunity scenarios (risks & returns)_
- _ Investigate projects with refinancing opportunities_
- _ Interaction and fundraising with lenders, venture capitalists, equity investors, insurance advisers, tax advisers, and financial advisers_
- _ Investigate tax legislation, legal aspects, and novel funding opportunities_
- _ Liaise with project team members and departments_
- _ Support directors decision making_
