Draft Beer Cooling Technician

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly skilled and dedicated person to join our Draught Technical Team.


Job Summary


The primary responsibilities of the role consist of, but not limited to, performing the repair, cleaning and maintenance of draft beer coolers at bars and restaurants as well as the rotational stock of coolers in our equipment storage area.

All our cooling equipment needs to be maintained in a clean, presentable state of order and 100% functional at all times.


Due to the pure number of coolers in trade and storage it requires solid skills in planning and executing of tasks at hand since priorities will be dictated from trade and sales activations.


The duties of the Draught Tech include, but are not limited to:


Primarily:

- _
MUST_be proficient in working and repairing with Domestic Cooling Appliances

  • Responsible for maintaining a clean/sanitary work and storage area for draught equipment.
  • Knowledgeable fault findings to assess and repair faulty draft beer coolers independently and properly, are absolute key requirements.
  • Do repair work to draft beer coolers, if required, on
- site at customers premises


Additionally:


  • Installation of beer draught systems
  • Follow the correct line cleaning procedures for all accounts
  • Flush beer lines with appropriately measured cleaning solutions
  • Disassemble and clean all faucet parts and attachments
  • Replace any damaged or missing parts
  • Ensure all cleaned beer lines pass testing before returning to beer
  • Follow route sequence scheduled in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure company vehicle is maintained and kept clean at all times
  • Responsible for the delivery, setup and takedown of draft equipment at special events throughout the year.
  • Develop and maintain positive, cooperative and teamoriented relationships with coworkers, supervisors, managers and others you come into contact with through your job

Requirements:


  • Valid Driver's license
  • Matric
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be Physically fit
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Must be proficient in Domestic Cooling Appliances
  • Ability to lift heavy loads of more than 30Kgs
  • Be resultsdriven and selfmotivated.
  • Flexible to work weekends and overtime when required.

Salary:
From R8,000.00 per month


Education:


  • High School (matric) (preferred)
