Description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
- To oversee and manage the installation, repairs and upkeep of the property
- Management and delegation of tasks to subordinates
- Maintenance of units, buildings, machines & implements, gardens, mashie course, paddocks, and Fence
- Manage Maintenance budget
- Inventory control
- Implementing policies and procedures
- Manage health and safety alongside committee
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- Multi skilled in all aspects of maintenance, electrical, plumbing, painting and mechanics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Hands on person with the ability to manage a team.
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Drivers License
- Fluent in English, Zulu & Afrikaans would be an advantage
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Formal Technical Qualification or 5year experience in similar role
- 3 years of skilled maintenance experience + management experience.
- Must have previous Resort / Hotel / Estate maintenance experience.
