Inventory Clerk - Cape Town, South Africa - Acumen Resources Development (Pty) Ltd
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure accuracy in inventory records.
- Update and maintain inventory records in the company's database.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in stock levels.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to optimize stock storage and handling procedures.
- Prepare reports on inventory balance, shortages, and other inventory related metrics.
- Assist in the implementation of new inventory management processes and systems.
Requirements:
- Matric certificate with a qualification in supply chain management or related field being advantageous.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and data entry skills.
- Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
