This position reports to the Senior Legal Counsel.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with dispute resolution of consumer matters from the CGSO
- Evaluate, classify and identify issues of all CGSO complaints
- Research law and identify relevant facts pertaining to complaints
- Liaise with Customer Services in order to resolve and respond to complaints
- Correspond in writing and telephonically with the CGSO relating to complaints and any other points of law
- Draft letters and relevant reports relating to CGSO complaints
- Update and improve template documents
- Assist with training and seminars
- Participate in CGSO related stakeholder engagements where appropriate
- Support the legal team as required

Qualifications and Experience:
- LLB
- 12 years work experience preferably some in customer service
- General drafting experience particularly correspondence and short reports
