This position reports to the Senior Legal Counsel.

Your responsibilities will include:


  • Assist with dispute resolution of consumer matters from the CGSO
  • Evaluate, classify and identify issues of all CGSO complaints
  • Research law and identify relevant facts pertaining to complaints
  • Liaise with Customer Services in order to resolve and respond to complaints
  • Correspond in writing and telephonically with the CGSO relating to complaints and any other points of law
  • Draft letters and relevant reports relating to CGSO complaints
  • Update and improve template documents
  • Assist with training and seminars
  • Participate in CGSO related stakeholder engagements where appropriate
  • Support the legal team as required

Qualifications and Experience:


  • LLB
  • 12 years work experience preferably some in customer service
  • General drafting experience particularly correspondence and short reports
