Salary:
R 15,000 - R 17,000 per month

Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service in the hospitality industry? Do you have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills? If so, we invite you to join our clients team as a Senior Reservationist at their 4* Luxury Hotel in Umhlanga.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Reservationist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for our clients guests

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and overseeing the reservation process to maximize room occupancy and revenue.
Responding promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, providing accurate information about room availability, rates, and hotel services.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate guest information and preferences are communicated and met.
Handling group reservations and coordinating with event planners for special occasions.
Utilizing the hotel's reservation system, including Opera Cloud, to make, modify, or cancel reservations as needed.
Keeping abreast of hotel policies, promotions, and local events to provide informed recommendations to guests.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Reservationist in a luxury hotel setting.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in reservation software, specifically Opera Cloud, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of local attractions and services to assist guests with recommendations.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel reservations.
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
Fluent in English (additional languages are advantageous).
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Customerfocused with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
