Description

Salary from R6k up to R10k depending on experience and product knowledge (liquor industry).

6 months probation with perm offered on completion.

Office based role

195 hours Monday to Friday operation with alternative Saturdays.

The major responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

Effective Customer liaison/Customer service telephonically.
Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service
Answer questions about products or the company
Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
Direct prospects to the field sales team or relevant department when needed
Enter and update customer information on the database
Take and process orders in an accurate manner
Handle grievances/complaints to preserve the company's reputation
Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks with a high attention to detail.
Knowledge of retail computer systems (Syspro).
Ability to work Saturdays.
Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospective customers
Ability to work well well under pressure
Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints effectively.
Great telephone, business communication skills
Works well under pressure
Computer proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Syspro knowledge (systems)
Team work
