Description

Well established client in the food manufacturing sector is recruiting an IT Intern. They may be tasked with developing new software, maintaining existing systems, or providing technical support to employees.

Responsibilities

Analyzing data to recommend improvements to existing systems or processes
Setting up new computers, networks, and software for new employees
Providing support to IT staff by answering phones, processing paperwork, and responding to user requests
Coordinating with other departments to ensure that all technology is working properly for the company
Collecting, analyzing, and storing data for use in reports
Supporting the maintenance of existing computer systems, including troubleshooting problems with hardware and software
Assisting with computer network security by scanning for vulnerabilities and viruses
Providing technical support for computer hardware and software issues
Should not have been working as an In Service Student in the last 612 months

Qualifications

Minimum qualification
Completed 3year Diploma or Degree with Computer Science as a Major.

Skills / Experience:

Ability to work in a team.
Good interpersonal skills.
Analytical ability and problemsolving skills.
Attention to detail.

Job Type:
Internship

Contract length: 6 months

Salary:
From R5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Midrand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
