Description
Our client is an outsourcing services company based in Rondebosch. They follow a hybrid working policy and hence you may work from home 2 to 3 days per week.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Update system rates in Accountants' absence
  • Capture disbursement and soft cost
  • Process Correction journals when requested
  • Capture and reverse vouchers
  • Finalise elite invoices when requested (When requested by secretaries)
  • Reverse elite invoices when requested (When requested by secretaries)
  • Capture bank statements for various banks onto elite. (Trust/Business) Monthly.
  • Capture payments and receipts on elite for trust, investment and business accounts
  • Perform daily batch finalizing on every uploaded transaction.
  • Open and maintain General ledger
  • Open and maintain Vendors
  • Update rate cards as and when they change on Elite
  • Issue monthly invoice for office tenant in JHB and send off for payment
  • Create manual reports on various data when requested (Commission/Disbursements)
  • Fill in data reports
  • Maintain I.T Global cost excel sheet
  • Check ledger code for yearend
  • Collect data for audit as required
  • Assist with matter statements
  • Capture monthly investments on Elite
  • Capture transactions onto system. (Receipts/Payments)

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 2 years' experience
  • ACCA or BCom Qualification
  • Microsoft Office Packages
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of MS Word, Excel and Power Point

Job Types:
Full-time, Internship, Permanent

Contract length: 3 months


Salary:
R14, R15,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cape Town,

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
