DUTIES:

Totally responsible for the "Sales Process" from the development of prospects to the closing of deals

To develop and manage the needs and wants within the allocated Public Sector and to ensure that clients are provided with the best suited products and solutions.

Develop and implement comprehensive strategic goals and strategies to maximize short and long term
sales growth and market penetration with profitability of the total mix of Bell product in the assigned area.
Build and maintain solid corporate relationships with Municipalities which are allocated to you.

Living the brand legacy by providing reliable support, superior customer service topped with integrity and honesty.


Key areas of focus are to include:
Develop and enhance customer relationships through extensive calling and cold calling -16 calls per week / quotes / km's to be accurate and documented
Maintain, enhance and grow the company's image at all times.

Ensure that the Bell brand becomes the preferred branch of choice.
Attain and exceed agreed sales and gross profit budgets and regain market share
5% Participation in Private sector deals
95% Participation in Government sector deals

Operating at all relationship levels within government

Understanding IDP and mining this information

Working with and maintaining solid relationships with SMME's

Reporting on opposition activities and market intelligence
Ensuring all administrative duties and CRM, ie call reports, reports on lost sales, forecasting, etc are
accurately and timeously completed


REQUIREMENTS:


  • A minimum of 5 (Five) years experience in the selling of Bell or Heavy Earthmoving
  • Preference will be given to applicants who have completed an appropriate tertiary degree or diploma or have made substantial progress towards attaining same.
  • Full computer literacy is required in both MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Applicants must have strong communication skills
  • Applicants must be selfmotivated and resourceful
  • May not have a criminal record due
  • Applicants must be prepared to travel and spend time away from home on a regular basis
