MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY
WEST COAST
JOB PURPOSE
- Oversee all financial and governance aspects that lie with the buyer. The buyer procures as cost effectives possible, the goods and services for packaging and production materials
EXPERIENCE
- Degree: Bcom or MCIP
- 10 years relevant FMCG experience
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes
- Full understanding of the whole supply chain
- Financial background
- Basic understanding of legal agreements
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPA's)
- Identify and establish preferred relevant suppliers list
- Negotiate costing
- Draw up the physical SLA
- Adherence to Food Safety and relevant market/legislative certification
- Manage relevant packaging and production material
- Reconciliation of MRP execution to operational production stragegy
