What will you do?


This person will be primarily responsible for Managing IT Helpdesk Tasks and SLAs, Managing of internal IT processes and monitoring, Managing Team responsibilities and deliverables.

What will make you successful in this role?

  • Allocation, Prioritization and Management of IT Helpdesk (ASD) tasks and SLAs
  • Escalation Management (ASD/JIRA)
  • Assist and Manage SARS Submission and Retrieval Process
  • Audits: Logical Access Reviews and checks
  • Real time System Monitoring
  • Monthly Reporting (ASD Tasks)
  • JIRA Management on BAU tasks and
  • Change management for BAU Hotfixes (Logging of changes and approvals).
  • Managing and assisting with testing: Vulnerabilities/MS Patch, MIP Patch testing and Hotfixes
  • Represent BAU team in PI Planning
  • BAU tasks
  • Meetings: Update feedback required for various meetings eg. Daily Ops Meeting
  • Technical DR Planning and updating of Battlebox
  • Infrastructure Management (Server CPU/Space/Health Checks)
  • Stakeholder communication
  • Drive Root Cause feedback
  • Troubleshoot problems, for applicable Applications
  • Project Management
  • Update & review documents Qualification and Experience
  • 5+ years' Business and Business process Knowledge (Benefit Payments, Contributions, Fund Accounting, Implementations)
  • 3+ years' Support experience in IT Operations
  • Indepth knowledge of the MIPEB, MIPPFG Systems and processes Technical Competencies
  • Indepth knowledge of IT Helpdesk (ASD) and JIRA processes
  • Understanding of SC Infrastructure and Environments
  • Knowledge of the SC Landscape and SGT Support structures.
  • Indepth Understanding of SC RD Gateway Solution
  • Understanding across domains, like: Security, Active Directory (policies), Networks (firewalls/gateways)
  • Understanding of SCIT Audit Requirements
  • Knowledge of the Change Management Process Behavioral Competencies
  • Collaborative and open minded.
  • Ability to work Independently and manage Time and Tasks according to priority provided.
  • Have Integrity and delivery on Committed Tasks and initiatives.
  • Good communicator, listener, and presenter of idea's verbally and visually.
  • Willing to crossskill across roles to prioritise Business Delivery
