Optimizing internal IT infrastructure for greater productivity and assist the organization to stay compliant with cybersecurity regulations.
Ensure the reliable performance of IT systems.
Troubleshoots and resolves any IT related hardware, software, user access or other problems.
Monitor system performance and usage to maintain security and reliability.
Coordinates new software releases, fixes and upgrades with technical teams and users.
Manage user access and credentials to safeguard our information and system.
Scope and lead system improvement based on business requirements and assist with the implementation thereof inclusive of user adoption.
Develop documentation for system policies and procedures and assist in the development of training materials and user manuals for the end users.
Monitor, implement and manage Disaster Recovery plan.
Monitor, implement and ensure compliance with company and group IT controls.
Recommends new features or changes to configuration/workflows based on user feedback.
Providing technical advice for the company's IT infrastructure with regards to hardware requirements, performance etc.
Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.
Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT Systems administration.

Qualifications:

Matric and diploma / Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
35 years' experience administering an ERP system.
Experience with ERP Systems advantageou
Experience in, report writers, SQL, workflow, and UML modelling advantageous.
Must have experience managing projects, setting up, deployment of information systems.
Experience in Microsoft 365 products and Business reporting Tools/Solutions will be advantageous
Knowledge (what must I know): Computer Literate / Excel / ERP systems
