PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO A BROAD SPECTRUM OF CUSTOMERS IN THE MINING, WATER TREATMENT, PLANT AND ANIMAL HEALTH, FOOD AND BEVERAGE, INFRASTRUCTURE AND GENERAL INDUSTRIAL SECTORS.

Our Client is seeking a highly motivated Head of Legal and Regulatory Services to join their team

Duties and responsibilities

  • Accountable for Mergers and Acquisitions across the Group
  • Accountable for the operational management of the full suite of legal services across the Group
  • Responsible for the Mergers and Acquisitions across the Group
  • Accountable for Corporate Legal and Regulatory Affairs
  • Accountable for drafting and rolling out Legal policies and procedures across the Group
  • Responsible for reporting and implementation of Legal standards
  • Responsible for the management of work streams in collaboration with the relevant Senior Legal Counsels
  • Maintain relationships with external legal advisors, local and cross border
  • Stay abreast of Legal Legislation, Compliance and Regulatory issues, locally and crossborder

Qualifications and expertise required (Must)

  • LLB or LLM
  • MBA will be advantageous
  • Admitted Attorney/Advocate
  • 810 years' work experience in a legal environment
  • Computer literacy essential
  • Knowledge and experience of corporate policies and process is important.

Salary is between 1.2M and 1.5M

Benefit:
Car allowance is R16 990 per month
