General Manager - Environment, Social Governance & Safety (ESGS)_

_Industry:

Purpose of the Position:


  • Reporting to the Companies President and CEO portfolio and forms part of the broader Strategy and Sustainable Function.
  • Playing a key role in adapting and positioning and repositioning the Companies Group in the ESGS disclosure and reporting environment.
  • Increasing the Companies exposure to investment for investors and stakeholders.
  • Playing an expert influencing, advising, and strategic role with respect to ESGS disclosure and reporting & assisting with Group Safety reviewing and implementation.

Qualifications:


  • Relevant post graduate Honours Degree is a must.
  • MBA will be a highly advantage.
  • Professional ESGS registration and Certifications will be an advantage.

Experience

  • 15 Years plus experience of professional experience in Sustainability including Climate Action experience, ESGS and Corporate Socia Responsibility (CSR) in the chemical, Fertilizer, petrochemical and mining sector.
  • 8 Years plus management experience of which 5 years must be in a Senior management level.
  • Proven leadership qualities and general management skills and experience on a strategic level.
  • Proven excellent financial and business acumen, multifunction expertise.
  • Managing and achieving deadlines.
  • Proven track record of improving SHREQ performances.
