Want to be part of the energy crisis solution? Look no further because we have a remarkable on-site opportunity for a Mid-Senior Communications Manager at an exciting, growing renewable energy company in Cape Town's Northern Suburbs.

To help this innovative company build their business and brand, we are looking for an extremely dynamic self-starter to head up their Communications and Branding team.

In this role as Communications Manager, you will use your flair for words to establish the brand's thought leadership on energy matters, as well as bring the brand stories to life, in a creative and engaging way across all communications channels.


The company engages (almost) exclusively with C-level executives in developing and executing projects, as such we are looking for a Communications Manager to focus on building their existing brand both internally and externally.

Their goal is to see their external audience (all the C-level execs in SA) trusting and turning to the brand, especially during the current challenging times induced by the government and Eskom.

This role reports directly to the CEO.


Responsibilities:


  • PR: Generation and dissemination. Building our brand through relevant and timely informative media disseminations, both general and industry specific media. Writing skills are paramount as they will be the company constituent on all group communications platforms
  • Custodianship of EP's website
  • Custodianship of EP's brand (Both internally and externally)
  • Custodianship of sales and branding material for divisions
  • Events coordination (Both internally and externally)
  • Creation of cultural alignment, awareness and understanding amongst internal audiences.

Requirements:


  • Relevant PR/Communications qualification
  • 810 years' experience
  • Strong writing skills with experience writing technical content for a general audience
  • Solid media relationships
  • B2B experience
  • Able to engage with and manage relationships with Csuite executives
  • Website management experience
  • Internal comms experience
  • Event management experience
  • Networking skills
  • Able to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment
  • Problem solver
  • Able to bring energy, perspective, ambassadorship, dynamism, and leadership to the role
  • Independent and creative thinker.
