Job description:


  • Prepare accurate and timely group financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
  • Prepare month end reporting and consolidation.
  • Take responsibility for monthly, quarterly half yearly and annual bank reporting.
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Ensure compliance with other departments to provide support on financial matters.
  • Participating in external audits and providing information and support as required
  • Maintain vigilance over new operational and financial risks and implement controls to mitigate risk.
  • Implementing and maintaining control processes to ensure that financial information is accurate and secure.
  • Foreign currency transactions
  • Determine foreign currency requirements and execute foreign currency transactions.
  • Review and process foreign currency revaluations
  • Reconcile forex gains/losses.
  • Assisting with tax planning and compliance
  • Preparation of tax returns and liaison with tax authorities, including submission of income tax and provisional tax.
  • Team management supervise team members to ensure finance department objectives and deadlines are met.
  • Review team's recons & report to ensure the accuracy thereof.
