Our People Ops Administrator is the glue that holds the people team together and supports each function to be able to genuinely have value add conversations with stakeholders.
You'll be super organised and a whiz with reporting and systems and know how to build and maintain solid processes, across the end-to-end employee lifecycle.
You'll ensure we remain compliant but efficient and that the basic people processes are done really well.What you'll be doing:
- The role is varied and challenging, supporting our managers and employees across administratively across all stages of the employee lifecycle.
- Work with the team to build a framework of our People processes that will enable us to standardise how we work and connect with other teams
- Effectively monitor, manage and ensure people compliance e.g employment, policies, right to work, visas etc. and multitask to deliver a wide range of administrative tasks (managing inbox, basic Industrial Relations/ER guidance, etc)
- Own our HRIS system (Bamboo) and data and knowhow optimise and automate the platform to drive efficiencies
- Manage all postoffer administration including background screening, employment contracts, visa sponsorship, etc
- Support and help maintain and evolve highquality, relevant and consistent onboarding and offboarding process
- Support monthly payroll ensuring employees are paid and that any leavers, new joiners and promotions are captured and processed accurately and on time
- Build and manage people reporting and create relevant, accurate and automated reports that support sounds decision making
- Build a network of key stakeholders; HR, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Finance, Managers and employees across the business
Skills and experience we think you'll need to be successful in the role;:
- Experience in a people operations administration role preferably in a fact paced contract centre or BPO environment
- Experience delivering 1st line support on a range of employee relations issues Experience of creating process flows and documenting processes and policies
- Good understanding of SA labour laws, exposure to UK labour laws would be advantageous but not essential
- An understanding of what good people compliance and governance looks like and the ability to assess and manage risk
- Good understanding of HR platforms and tools and how to work with them to get the best out of them (Automation, Reporting, business engagement, etc) e.g. Lever and Bamboo
- Analytical thinker with strong data analysis and report building skills and a strong understanding of people and culture metrics and how to measure them
- High levels of attention to detail, multitasking and prioritisation skills
