Minimum Requirements:


  • Code 8 (EB) Driver's License. (Ability to pass Rand Water's K53 driver test)
  • Grade 12 or NQF level 5 qualification
  • Studying towards a National Diploma in Horticulture is desirable
  • Intermediate safety knowledge
  • The following knowledge is desirable; Irrigation related knowledge and experience, Alien

Primary Duties:


  • Use and allocation of specialised horticultural machinery.
  • First line in handling disciplinary matters.
  • Completion of job cards _I _requests _I _defects.
  • Address and rectify all safety related issues.
  • Undertake job observations and assist with on the job training.

Knowledge:


  • Staff management
  • Basic ISO 14001 and1800
  • Disciplinary procedures
  • Horticulturalequipment
  • Horticultural maintenance

Skills:


  • Supervisory skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Problem solving
