REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

  • Grade 1
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Quality or Health and Safety or Food Safety is an advantage

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years experience in Food/Feed Manufacturing is an advantage

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Prepare for and participate in external audits.
  • Ensure conducting and minuting of Food Safety / Level meetings.
  • Conduct or participate and perform assessments of audits and surveys.
  • Manage continuous improvement objectives.
  • Maintain Customer Complaints, CPA, Non-Conforming Products, Supplier Complaints and Continuous Improvement objectives. Ensure Root Cause is done correctly and the corrective and preventive actions are taken where required.
  • Support and manage ad hoc laboratory and food safety processes in conjunction with the Operational Nutritionist and factory lab staff.
  • Maintain Incident Management system, Objectives and OHSE Incident Management Systems and identify root causes and ensure that corrective and preventive actions are taken where required.
