Description

An established equipment supplier in the Johannesburg area is looking for an Internal Sales Representative with a minimum of 2 years mechanical equipment based internal sales experience

Responsibilities

Support and service existing clients as well as new and prospective clients
Preparation and sending of quotations to clients
Ensure detail, accuracy and inclusion of all relevant project specifications for respective tenders, quotes
Answering customer calls and establishing their requirements
Based on customer requirements, propose a selected solution for the customer's requirements
Prepare and review quotes, tenders
Processing and following up on customer's orders
Attend to and follow up on any client issues
Assist external sales representatives with quotes, information and interaction with clients as per business requirements
Monitoring of clients respective accounts as well as follow up on outstanding payments
Prepare and maintain various sales and activity reports
Feedback to company departments with respect to field developments, new requirements and relevant customer requests
Interact with production and other departments to ensure completion of customer orders as required
Completion and filing of all relevant invoices, quotes and sales based literature
Resolve customer issues and complaints or refer to relevant department

Requirements:

***- Grade 12
-
MUST HAVE a minimum of 2 years mechanical based internal Sales Rep experience (examples might include selection of power transmission chain, selection of pump or related equipment, selection of stirring equipment/drive equipment, etc)

People without 2 years Mechanical based sales experience will NOT be considered:

Computer literate
MS Office
Experience with SAP/CRM is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven sales track record
Salary is dependent on relevant Technical Sales skillset and relevant industry experience
