Service/Workshop Manager Automotive

Sandton - Gauteng - South Africa

Reporting to the Senior Manager you will be required to manage the Service Repair, Warranty and Parts Business at the Dealership.

This position requires extensive travel within South Africa and Southern Africa.

You will be required to maintain business relationships with Customers, Dealerships and Business partners/suppliers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

NQF Level
N6 Technical Diploma or Relevant.
Automotive Trade Test Diploma (Technical Diploma) Qualified Diesel Technician.
Code EC (14) drivers license

Experience:

Experience in Franchised Truck Motor Workshop Management
5 years of Vehicle repairs experience
5 years of Head Office experience in dealership management
5 years of Warranty repair support/approval
5 years of Indepth Root cause analysis
5 years of Warranty and Quality Management with OEM/Plant/dealership
Fully computer literate including literacy Lotus Notes, MS Office and Outlook.
Report writing skills are a requirement.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Maintain Business relationships with Customers, Dealerships and Business partners/suppliers.
Investigate and report all product quality issues.
Launch and Manage Service and Recall Campaigns
Liaise closely with the production plant on quality issues.
Diagnostic Explorer support
Gather and analyze product problem information and data and submit reports as well as Product Feedback Reports
Manage the policy budget provided for outofwarranty on known technical problems correctly.
Ensure that the budget is adhered to.
Maintain jobrelated administration functions and records.
Will be required to travel and sometimes at short notice.
