Description

Purpose:
Responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack and pick stock for orders.

Accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and may also be required to perform other

duties.


Minimum Requirements:


  • Grade 1
  • Minimum 12 years related experience in logistics
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (SAP knowledge an added advantage)
  • Availability to work overtime, as required from time to time
  • Valid Forklift Licence

Job Summary:


  • Accurate picking and loading of products to plan and instructions
  • Manage Forklift machine as per company policy
  • Meet all requirements within set timeframes
  • Consistently comply with workplace standards and practices
  • Consistently attain performance goals as set out and agreed upon quarterly
  • Implement good housekeeping and safety practices
  • Suggest improvements and implement new ideas to improve effectiveness
  • Adhoc projects

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Paarl,

Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
