Hold ourselves and others responsible and accountable for delivering results and satisfying our customers.- National diploma or equivalent experience in a relevant field (see below).


  • Relevant certifications will be advantageous (CCNA, MCSE, A+)
  • Coordinates, monitors, and supports daytoday IT operations (e.g. infrastructure, relationships with the business) and escalates as necessary.
  • Works with customers and central IT teams to resolve daytoday operational issues.
  • Ensures corporate IT standards are consistently followed for all IT operations activities.
  • Ensures interactions with customers, central IT teams, and management are effective in resolving daytoday operational issues.
  • Ensures proper support tools and processes are used to resolve incidents in a timely manner.
  • Interacts with suppliers for the execution of IT services.
  • Prepares Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) processes, and facilitates execution.
  • Manages access controls for suppliers.
  • Works closely with business customers to document business requirements for complex problems, and works with business analysts and project managers as appropriate.
  • Executes a range of activities (e.g. root cause investigation, incident resolution) for a range of processes or services.
  • Ensures desk procedures are up to date.
  • Identifies process and technology improvements and makes recommendations to IT supervision/management.
  • Works on production support and migration activities outside normal office hours when required.
  • Performs maintenance of appropriate disaster recovery data center facilities, which may include plants.
  • Works with customers to ensure local and company health and safety policies and standards are consistently followed at all IT supported facilities.
