Qualifications and experience:

National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator, specifically with MsSQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and DBMS.
Strong understanding of database architecture, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, HTML, Java, JavaScript, Python, Visual Basic, C#, PHP
Experience with database backup and recovery strategies.
Familiarity with database security and access controls

Responsibilities:

Installation and Configuration: Install and configure database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
Database Design and Implementation: Design and implement database structures based on business requirements. Ensure data integrity and normalization.
Performance Monitoring and Tuning: Monitor database performance and optimize queries. Implement performancetuning techniques.
Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies. Ensure data integrity and availability.
Security Management: Implement and maintain database security measures. Control access to databases and sensitive information.
Capacity Planning : Forecast future database capacity requirements. Plan for scalability and growth.
Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve databaserelated issues. Provide support for databaserelated incidents
Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders.
System Design: Design software solutions, including architecture, modules, and interfaces. Create technical specifications and documentation.
Coding and Programming: Write efficient, maintainable, and scalable code. Implement software solutions according to design specifications.
Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with crossfunctional teams
