    Key Purpose
  • To efficiently contact our clients that are in arrears and to conserve their valuable cover to maintain our client base that would affect our exposure and lapse rates for the business.

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following broad job functions:


  • Resolving Problems in relation to reconciliation statements and reconciling complex requests.
  • Track ongoing repayment requests and maintain outbound contact with customers to ensure that their policies are in a paid to date status.
  • Strong ability to remain calm in a stressful situation.
  • Understand the purpose of a Claim and the impact that this would have when a customer is outstanding on their premiums.
  • Creative thinking skills to contribute towards Credit Control drive.
  • Up to date with latest communication platforms to communicate more effectively with our customers.
  • Ability to keep economical changes in mind with the ability to persuade customers on the importance of maintaining their Life Cover policies.
  • Strong personal values that would filter through in their daily performance.
  • Excellent interactive qualities with customers, leaders, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively during business hours to achieve all goals.
  • Quick solutions on customer complaints and servicing requests.
  • Excellent ability to grasp complex Product knowledge.

Education and Experience

Essential:


  • Matric
  • 23 years Call Centre experience
  • 12 years' experience in a Credit Controller role
  • Sales experience would be advantageous.

Advantageous:


  • Relevant degree or diploma

Technical Skills and Knowledge

Essential:


  • Microsoft Office Proficiency
  • Intermediate Level


  • Power BI

  • Intermediate level
  • Excel proficiency

Advantageous:


  • FAIS accreditation with a minimum of 120 credits
  • Good knowledge of Compliance, Reassurance, LOA protocols of Risk
  • Good knowledge on POPIA regulations
  • Strong knowledge on TCF
