Requirements:


  • Grade 12/ NQF
  • Relevant BCom Degree/ qualification.
years' experience in Agri-Retail.

  • Successful track record of managing teams to ensure growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Overall management of NTK's Retail division to meet agreed targets and budgets.
  • Develop division according to strategic goals.
  • Optimal management of inventory to ensure return on capital.
  • Optimal utilisation of capital (return on capital/ fixed assets).
  • Analyse trends and possible opportunities in order to optimise capital expenditure.
  • Effective Project Management support to the divisional team and stakeholders.
  • Overall Cost, Margin, and Budget management of VKB NTK's division.
  • Mitigate and manage possible risks that might arise.
  • Create an environment within your department that contributes to the successful implementation of the VKB Group POPIA compliance framework.
  • Effective management of NTK Retail's product range according to market research and inputs from the geographical areas of the relevant retail branches.
  • Communication with Managers and other Key Personnel on a continuous basis.
  • Ensure legal and operational compliance is prioritised within the division.
  • Together with the relevant stakeholders, create and execute innovative marketing
- and advertising strategies to aid in the growth of NTK's Retail division.

  • Build and uphold good client relationships to promote customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Drive relevant Human Capital initiatives to ensure a healthy and safe work environment (Employee Engagement, Succession Planning, Performance Appraisals, Mentorship, Change Management etc.).
  • Ensure that the Training
- and Employment Equity plans are prioritised and completed within set targets.

  • Contribute to the VKB Culture.
