Description

The primary job of a sales professional is to sell products, goods, or services to customers in the Business Vertical.

The person employs sales techniques to find out what customers' needs or want and suggests products or services that address their need.

Sales professionals generate more sales by finding new sales leads.


Key Responsibility Areas:


  • Pursue sales opportunities and leads to close new accounts (Hunting)
  • To manage multiple accounts in the allocated sales area
  • Facilitation of administrative and all other related activities in running accounts
  • Analyse the existing portfolio of business for the Port Elizabeth Region and develop a plan aimed at protecting and growing the business
  • Crosssell and up sell to existing clients to grow account revenues and share of wallet
  • Create reports on sales pipeline.
  • Conduct product presentations at selected accounts
  • Develop and understand customer needs and drive the process to have their needs developed into RFI's, RFP's and RFQ's
  • Maintain excellent relationships with key contact persons in your given Vertical
  • Ensure that customer payments are received timeously
  • Manage the SMB portfolio as a profit centre, with sales targets. Ensure monthly targets are achieved
  • Attend afterhour functions as and when required

Qualifications and Experience

  • Own vehicle and cell required
  • 24 years Direct sales experience
  • Industry Experience in the following Telecomms, Telematics, Automotive and Technology preferred
  • Matric required
  • General Business Degree or equivalent

Salary:
R18, R25,000.00 per month
