Description

Job Duties/Responsibilities will include:

Maintaining an IFRS compliant Fixed Asset Register and Income Tax compliant Tax Asset Register including other fixed asset administration

Preparing income tax schedules for tax returns disclosure purposes for all entities in the Group

Maintaining the cash books for and performing monthly bank account reconciliations for entities in the Group and preparing ad hoc EFT payments

Administering all Foreign exchange contracts for Imports

Maintaining petty cash

Administering and recording staff re-imbursements and credit cards

Updating daily exchange rates on the financial system

Preparing general journals

Preparing VAT returns

Other ad hoc accounting and administrative duties

Grade 12, with Mathematics

Completed B.Com degree majoring in Accounting

Experience in GL entries, cashbook and fixed assets would be preferable

Computer literacy - MS Office (With a high proficiency in MS Excel)
