Job purpose:


To develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines in order to achieve and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.


Key Accountable Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits and inspections in the branches and departments on a regular basis.
  • Ensure that the company is legally compliant with all health and safety legislation at all times.
  • Schedule and execute audits on site to identify areas of improvement and implement measures as required.
  • Have first line responsibility for incident investigations, including but not limited to investigating, making initial recommendations and putting measures in place to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Plan and implement OHS policies, programs and advise and lead employees on various safetyrelated topics.

Competency and qualification requirements:

  • National Diploma in Environment Health
  • OHS or Equivalent
  • Certificate in First Aid Training and Certificate in Fire Marshall Training
  • National Compliance and Risk Qualifications (NCRQ)
  • Team management
  • 3 years' experience in Health & Safety in workplace and Legislation
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Computer literacy at an advanced level

Ability to Commute:

  • Rosebank, Gauteng (required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Rosebank, Gauteng: Relocate before starting work (required)
