What you will enjoy doing

You will use Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodology and tools to analyse complex data and to interrogate business processes to identify tangible and high impact business improvement initiatives
Success is therefore to streamline and transform the cost base to become more efficient, be more productive and lead to lower cost per unit (fixed and variable costs) and therefore directly supporting the EMERGING AFRICA Countries in meeting its P&L objectives
Conduct improvement feasibility studies which will include analysis of information for cylinder filling, cylinder maintenance, supply chain and distribution trends and operational data of equipment
Ensuring that the delivery of all projects is consistent with the appropriate productivity process methodologies

What makes you great

You possess Degree in Business/Commerce or Engineering (preferably Industrial Engineering).
Minimum 35 years relevant experience in Gases Industry with specific reference to compressed gases operations, cylinder planning and supply chain processes and operations.
Continual improvement tools/methodology knowledge, experience and certification is an added advantage e.g., Six Sigma, Lean.
Good understanding of the Linde's business model, processes, products, services, and organisation
