Responsibilities
- Contribute to Product Development.
- Research new market developments and generation of product ideas
- Guide IT team on programs used to administer business.
- Assist with automation and integration of other Group divisions on the administration system
- Implement and test automation of system programs for correctness and conduct audits on the administration system.
- Manage reinsurance treaties.
- Research risk rates and reinsurance terms available in the market.
- Manage and oversee reinsurance data and premiums are compiled and submitted to reinsurers monthly.
- Manage profitshare payouts from reinsurers.
- Monitor the correctness of actuarial valuation data.
- Manage and oversee the updating of financial transactions.
- Monitor and analyse inforce data.
- Manage the administration of retail pension funds.
- Manage the correctness and submission of tax directives to SARS on claims.
- Oversee that Finance is assisted with fund financial statements and assist Fund Valuator with fund valuations.
Requirements:
- B Degree Actuarial Sciences
- Passed CT 1 9

- Insurance industry: 3 years (required)

- CT 9 Qualification (required)
