Large Head Office Services concern based in Centurion has an opening for a Group Creditors Manager.

A

completed B.Com degree or Diploma in Accounting / Finance is essential, coupled with a minimum of 5+ years Creditors Management experience. Manage 25 staff directly and be accountable for a large book value in excess of R50m plus, with approximately 1200 accounts (all local accounts).

KPI's include:

control and plan the work of the AP team to ensure the Department meets it's deadlines and responsibilities in a timely, efficient and effective manner; responsible for the overall operation of the AP Department including advising on and initiating changes necessary to process procedures; ensure compliance to company policies; management and maintenance of the vendor masterfile; review and approve forex P&L journals; support, motivate, deploy and train a team of 20 staff; responsible for the management of the internal and external audit requests in AP and prepare audit schedules; keep abreast of changes in relevant ACT and Standards (IFRS, VAT, POPI Act); work hand in hand with Procurement in respect of trade vendor vetting and cashbook vendor vetting; B/S recons for all AP related accrual accounts; monitor repayments of SED loans; daily and weekly cashflow forecasts and actuals; checking and approving supplier payment packs; check and approve petty cash reimbursements and daily top ups; check and issue requisitions in line with approval matrix; group reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

Recent exposure to SAP B1 essential. Own transport essential.
