  • Carry out leasing functions including procuring new tenants, showing vacant units, clarifying lease terms to prospective tenants, preparing new leases, assisting with resolving relevant account queries or disputes, and completing market rental surveys.
  • REQUIREMENTS:
  • Matric
  • Real Estate license
  • 2 years of experience as a leasing consultant / agent / broker (essential).
  • Solid understanding rental regulations and compliance.
  • Expert knowledge of rental agreements.
  • Proven ability to work towards and meet targets.

DUTIES:
Leasing Administration

  • Market available residential units, including being responsible for unit viewings.
  • Assist Leasing Manager to market commercial property and liaise with commercial brokers.
  • Conduct credit verification and relevant assessments of prospective customers.
  • Identify suitable tenants through rigorous screening against selection criteria in compliance with company policy and within prescribed timeframes.
  • Prepare and submit required lease documentation.
  • Hand over tenant to property manager at entry inspection with keys and security access.
  • Complete market rental surveys.
  • Monitor industry, market and competitor trends.
Customer Services

  • Create new tenant records and update existing tenant records.
  • Manage cases related to leasing on CRM.
  • Resolve minor leasing complaints or direct tenants with complex complaints to the appropriate source to ensure that their problems are appropriately resolved.
  • Draft leasing related communications addressed to tenants.
