General Worker: Mixing Sorter

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To ensure good quality approved bags get packed into cases as per required standards per product. To ensure that non-conforming bags is striped and the product recovered to be tipped back on the line

KEY PERFOMANCE AREA:

Help achieve AIB Gold Standard Re-Certification by practicing good GMP and HASSP.
Help to ensure and maintain 5S scores.
Report any product issues to supervisor.
Identify and remove nonconforming bags and cases.
Strip of nonconforming product to be reintroduced to the line.
Ensure adherence to all reasonable instructions.

REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 or equivalent
1year work experience within the food industry and FMCG.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:

Assertive and results orientated.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work productively in a stressful environment.
Willing to work shifts as and overtime when required.
Medically fit to work in a cold environment.
